Welcome to a totally unique concept - a media facility provided for the community of Eastern England, the east Midlands and Lincolnshire - to be completed in 2010

A totally unique project that you can support by donating as little as £1 or $1

Our first choice of premises is the old Johnson Hospital in Spalding - see why here

I have already committed £250,000 of my own money and need to raise another £250,000 over the next 12 months. The total project plan over 3 years is £1.3M

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
I have worked hard all of my life and have always had great ambitions. I have worked in the media for more than 20 years including 14 years running my own video production company. I have already helped local youths by offering film making courses during school holidays and during this time I have seen that Lincolnshire has very little media facilities available, yet we have a massive pool of young talent.

Local charities and groups are struggling with rising rates for renting premises. Why not give them all a central base to work from and charge them next to nothing?

There will be media training for students, band rehearsal rooms, publishing suites and much more
This project is totally unique. Nothing has ever been done like this before. The scale of this project is huge and so are the benefits.
This is a long term project – a local asset that will last forever! Once it opens its doors it will continue to grow. All profits will be ploughed back into the facility to enable it to expand. Immediately the Lincolnshire Media Centre will be the largest community facility of its kind, anywhere. Within five years we anticipate a usage rate of more than 80% of the facility and more than 18 hours per day.

AND WHO’S PAYING FOR ALL THIS?
I am already committed to inject £250,000 of my own money. Over the next 3 years we will continue to inject funds into the project bringing the total investment up to £1.3M
Strangely enough there is no funding for this type of project – purely because it is unique. There is no precedent  for government authorities to go by.
£250,000 is being raised by voluntary donations, from people like you who are donating as little as £1 or $1. No matter how little someone donates, every single donation will help. Please donate here

If you cannot make a donation - no problem but please help by sending this page to all your friends
Maybe you have something else you could donate such as services/assistance/refurbishment materials?
